It has been along time! This was my first Ben Harper concert! The show was at the Del Mar Race Track the last show for the summer series.

His music was so good. Very impressive, his music and and his stage presence. I've been listening to Ben music for a few years. He use to hang out here in Encinitas CA, back in the day! Where Jewel got her start, Belly up, coffe houses, etc...

His music is uplifting and inspiring. His band was rocking. He gave all his musician buddies and shot out and a solo! Cool!!!

He comes to life when he plays his lap guitar. Setting there all confident, knowing he's going to kill it! And he played that hit songs, Faded!

San Diego quintet Thickliquidcombine the melodic content of such anthemic '80s hard rockers as Mötley Crüe and W.A.S.P. along with the dense and hard-hitting guitar riffs of such thrash metallists as Megadeth and Testament. Along with issuing a debut recording thus far, Thickliquid has opened regional shows for such well-known metal acts as the Scorpions, Incubus, and two of their biggest aforementioned influences -- Mötley Crüe and Megadeth.

Ocean Aid Awareness

Here we are a couple years later! Ocean Aid sponsored a multimedia, music and video tour world wide. They provided Planet Earth Awareness to the community. This was a big effort. So, with all this environmental awareness they needed some key players. Tom Curren- 3 Time World Surf Champion, Sonny Miller-Cinema Film Photographer and brain child of The Search, Chris Swann-Composer and Bass Funk Master. The name of the band is Ocean Aid Band with Tom Curren, Chris Swann, Sonny Miller, Marco Wood and friends. We toured various surf spots, arena's, surf shops, concert halls and clubs, we visited radio stations and appeared on MTV. We risked our lives in unchartered waters, we provided people with literature and facts about our Planet Earth. We had so much fun surfing and playing music. Thanks to those that helped!
